Who We Are
Rockpool Residential Aged Care was born in 2016, driven by a shared vision to change how aged care is offered in Australia. Our mission is to provide care and services creating an environment for residents, their loved ones and team members that is safe, secure, inclusive, contemplative, reflective and vibrant with life.
In 2017 we commenced construction on our first site at Morayfield and officially opened in September 2019. Since then, we built three more locations including Carseldine, Pelican Waters and Songbird Oxley.
Now, Rockpool is entering an exciting new chapter. Four new Rockpool homes are on the way, expanding our communities across South East Queensland and bringing our distinctive approach to residential aged care to even more residents and families.
Rockpool Northshore Hamilton, Rockpool Kedron, Rockpool Southport and Rockpool Banyo will each build on everything we have learned so far, creating vibrant new homes designed around contemporary aged care, meaningful connection and our My Day, My Way model of care.
Together, these new homes represent the next stage of Rockpool’s journey and our continued commitment to creating communities that are truly Vibrant with Life.

Meet Bill Summers and Michael Watson who co-founded Rockpool Residential Aged Care with a shared vision to change how aged care is offered in Australia by providing something that is distinctly different.
Bill & Michael are both driven by a deep passion and an unwavering belief that aged care is about providing care and enhancing quality of life and that the best way to do this is by listening to and providing Rockpool residents with exactly what they want in aged care.

Regis acquires Rockpool's four operating homes

Build begins at Rockpool Northshore Hamilton & Rockpool Kedron... Rockpool Southport & Rockpool Banyo is also announced. Rockpool Northshore Hamilton scheduled to open October 2026.
